How To: Move your Home Internet & TV Service

Overview

You can move your Freedom Home Internet service to a new address at any time through My Account.

During the process, you’ll confirm service availability at your new location, choose a plan, and select an activation date that works for you.

5G Home Internet and its equipment can only be used at the service address on your account. If you’d like to use your 5G Home Internet Service at a different location, please contact us first so we can confirm eligibility.

Steps in My Account

You can submit a move request directly in My Account. Once logged in follow the steps below:

  1. Select Manage Internet & TV

  2. Choose Moving Request

  3. Enter your new address

  4. Select your preferred plan and activation date

  5. Review and confirm your request

Once you enter your new address, we’ll check whether Internet and TV services are available at that location. Availability can vary based on the specific address and local infrastructure.

Selecting Your Activation Date

You can choose your preferred date based on availability. Your service at the new address will begin on the selected date, and service at your previous address will disconnect at the same time for a smooth transition.

Billing Changes

On your next bill, you’ll see prorated adjustments based on your move. We’ll apply any unused prepaid days as a credit to your account and charge a prorated amount starting from your new activation date. After that, your billing will continue on your regular monthly cycle.
