Why are you retiring Freedom WiFi?

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the customer experience, Freedom Mobile is continuing the rollout of 3800 MHz spectrum across our 5G+ network in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. This upgrade significantly boosts network performance, enabling customers with compatible 5G+ devices and plans to experience theoretical peak download speeds up to 10x faster than max Wi-Fi hotspot speeds-exceeding 1 Gbps. 5G+ access is included in all Freedom Mobile monthly plans, at no extra cost.
