How do I set up Wi-Fi Calling on my Android phone?

A compatible device is required for Wi-Fi Calling. Check out our Device Compatibility Tool to ensure your device is compatible with Wi-Fi Calling.

To get the most out of our network, always ensure your Android phone software is up to date

Before attempting to set up Wi-Fi Calling, confirm you are using a P6 or P6A SIM card. If you are using a P5 SIM card, please visit a Freedom Mobile retail location to get a newer SIM card.

Once confirmed, follow the steps below to set up Wi-Fi Calling:

  1. Connect your phone to a Wi-Fi network with Internet access

  2. Open the Phone app

  3. Navigate to the Settings
