How To: Change your Phone Number in My Account

Overview

You can easily change your existing Freedom Mobile phone number to a new Freedom Mobile phone number in My Account.

There is a $10 fee associated with changing your Freedom Mobile number. We will give you a chance to confirm the cost before proceeding with your number change.

Steps in My Account

Once logged into My Account, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to the My Plan & Device tab

  2. Scroll down and select the option to Change Phone Number

  3. Select a Province and City for the drop down lists available. Click Check Available Phone Numbers.

  4. Select a new phone number from the available options.

  5. Once the phone number change is complete, restart your phone to refresh the connection to the network.

If you want to switch your number to the one you already have with another carrier, Customer Care can complete the transfer free of charge.
