How do I change the Network Name and/or Password of my Freedom WiFi Gateway?

Your Wi-Fi network name and password are the combination that you use to connect to the Wi-Fi network. To change the password or network name (SSID) for your Wi-Fi network, you will need to log into the Wi-Fi Gateway configuration page which will allow you to configure various settings related to your Wi-Fi network.  Follow the steps below to change your network name or password:

1. Open any Internet browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, etc...) and navigate to the address bar at the top of the page. Enter the following: 10.0.0.1, and then hit the enter key on your keyboard:

3. Select Connection > Wi-Fi from the menu on the left.

4. Select the Edit button beside either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz to change the Password or Network Name (SSID) for that network. Select Save Settings to finish.
