REFER A FRIEND PHONE + ONE YEAR OF SERVICE CONTEST

(the “Contest”)

OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

December 11, 2025 – 09:00 AM EST – January 19, 2026 – 11:59 PM EST

ENTRY MECHANISM

Existing wireless customers of Freedom Mobile can participate in the Contest by registering for the Refer A Friend program at: https://refer.freedommobile.ca and then using their unique referral link to refer friends. You can refer up to 10 people per year. To be eligible, you must be subscribed to a Freedom Mobile prepaid or postpaid wireless consumer monthly rate plan with a minimum price of $25/month (after Digital Discount).

Each successful referral gives you five (5) entries into the Contest.

A “successful referral” means the referred friend claims their offer during the Contest Period and activates a minimum $25/month (after Digital Discount) prepaid or postpaid wireless consumer monthly rate plan with Freedom Mobile within 30 days of claiming their offer. The referred friend must remain active for at least 30 days before Freedom Mobile will validate the new account.

No Purchase Entry:

To enter without making a purchase or referral, write an original essay of approximately 100 words explaining why you should win the prize and mail it to Freedom Mobile as described below. Also include an email address for you to be contacted in case you are selected as a winner. A duly submitted essay in accordance with the Contest Rules constitutes one (1) entry in the Contest.

PRIZES

Each eligible entry into the Contest will give the entrant a chance to win one (1) of five (5) prizes (the “Prizes”). Each Prize consists of:

One (1) Samsung Galaxy S25 (128 GB) smartphone; and

One (1) year of Freedom Mobile service (see details at 4d below).

CONTEST RULES

1. CONTEST PERIOD:

The Contest begins at 09:00 AM EST on December 11, 2025 and ends at 11:59 PM EST on January 19, 2026 (the “Contest Period”), after which time the Contest will be closed and no further entries shall be accepted.

2. ELIGIBILITY:

To enter and be eligible to win, entrants must be legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) and at least the age of majority in the province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Proof of identification and residency must be provided upon request. Employees, officers, and directors of Freedom Mobile, its partners and associate companies and authorized dealers and retailers, their advertising and promotional agencies, and their respective affiliates and associates and such individual’s immediate family members and anyone living in the same household, are not eligible to enter. For these Contest Rules, “immediate family” refers to the father, mother, brothers, sisters, children, husband, wife or partner of such an employee, agent and/or representative. A winner of a Freedom Mobile contest within three (3) months preceding December 11, 2025, (including persons designated by such winners to take ownership of the prize) and persons domiciled with such a winner are not eligible to enter.

3. ENTRY:

Referral Entries: 5 entries for each successful referral.

Essay Entries: Maximum fifty (50) essay entries per individual.

4. PRIZES:

a. There are five (5) Prizes to be awarded, each consisting of:

one (1) year of Freedom Mobile service (see details at 4d below), plus a Samsung Galaxy S25 128GB phone.

Each Prize is valued at approximately $1,700.

b. The approximate value of the Prizes are as listed in 4a. A winner is not entitled to the monetary difference between the actual Prize value and stated approximate Prize value, if any.

c. The colour of each smartphone portion of a Prize will be determined at the sole discretion of Freedom Mobile.

d. The one (1) year of Freedom Mobile service portion of a Prize will be as described in this section. Each winner of a Prize who: (i) is an existing customer of Freedom Mobile, will receive twelve (12) months of complementary Freedom Mobile service on the rate plan and payment type (prepaid or postpaid) that they are subscribed to on the day that they are declared a winner, or (ii) is not an existing customer of Freedom Mobile, will have a new Freedom Mobile prepaid account activated on their behalf in order to receive the twelve (12) months of service on a rate plan determined at the sole discretion of Freedom Mobile. A prepaid account will require payment in advance in order to maintain Freedom Mobile service after the twelve (12) months of complementary service has been completed.

e. Limit of one (1) Prize per person.

f. The odds of winning a Prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

g. The Prizes are not redeemable in cash and are not transferable. The Prizes may not be sold, transferred or converted into cash. The Prizes must be accepted as awarded — no substitutions at the request of a winning entrant will be made.

h. Freedom Mobile retains the right, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of the Prizes, in whole or in part, for any reason whatsoever.

5. WINNER SELECTION:

a. Five (5) random Prize draws will take place on March 25, 2026, 12 PM ET at the Freedom Mobile office, in Toronto, Ontario, from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The odds of winning a Prize will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

b. Freedom Mobile, acting reasonably, will attempt to contact the potential winners within three (3) business days of the draw via the email address associated with the potential winner’s Freedom Mobile account or as included by the potential winner with their Contest essay submission. The potential Prize winners must respond to Freedom Mobile by reply email within three (3) business days of being contacted. In the event that a potential Prize winner does not respond to Freedom Mobile within that time period, they will be disqualified, and an alternate potential winner will be drawn. Proof of identification and residence must be provided upon request.

c. Each person whose name is drawn as being a winner will be required to answer a skill-testing question before a Prize is awarded.

d. Before being awarded a Prize, a potential Prize winner will be required to sign a full release and indemnity form (the “Release”) as prepared and accepted by Freedom Mobile, acknowledging and confirming:

i. eligibility, understanding and compliance with these Official Rules and Regulations (the “Contest Rules”);

ii. his/her acceptance of the Prize, as offered;

iii. releasing Freedom Mobile and its parent company, affiliates and/or related companies and its employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, administrators, licensees, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies from any and all liability of any kind including potential winner’s, as applicable, participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use or misuse of the Prize, including but not limited to costs, injuries, losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy defamation, or portrayal in a false light, or from any and all claims of third parties arising therefrom;

iv. authorization to Freedom Mobile and its parent company, affiliates and/or related companies to broadcast, publish and disseminate his/her name, place of residence, photograph, image, likeness, sobriquet and voice, in connection with any promotion or publicity, and/or for general news, entertainment and information purposes at no additional compensation to the potential winner, beyond the awarding of or participation in the Prize to the extent permitted by law.

In the event the Release is not signed and returned by potential Prize winner within the time stipulated by Freedom Mobile, the potential Prize winner will be deemed to have forfeited his/her Prize. Freedom Mobile reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to select another potential Prize winner.

e. By entering the Contest, the entrants and participants automatically agree to accept and abide by the Contest Rules and in accepting a Prize, the winner acknowledges that Freedom Mobile and its parent company, affiliates, partners, associates and/or related companies and agents may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury of any kind (including injury resulting in death) associated with accepting or using the Prize. The entrant agrees that he/she releases and holds harmless Freedom Mobile and its parent company, affiliates, partners, associates and/or related companies and agents from and against any and all causes of action, suits, claims, demands, liabilities, costs and expenses by reason of or arising out of entrant’s participation in this Contest and the awarding, receipt, and/or use or misuse of a Prize or participating in any Prize-related activities. All decisions of Freedom Mobile with respect to any aspect of the Contest, including, without limitation, the eligibility of entries, are final and binding on all entrants in all matters as they relate to the Contest.

f. In the event that a potential winner does not comply with all the provisions as contemplated in these Contest Rules, Freedom Mobile shall have the right to disqualify the potential winner and draw an alternate potential winner. Freedom Mobile shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard. The provisions and procedures referred to above relating to selection and notification of a potential winner shall be applied, with the necessary amendments, until qualified Prize winners have been duly selected.

g. All entries received become the property of Freedom Mobile and will not be returned. Freedom Mobile assumes no responsibility for: (i) delays due to high call volumes; (ii) incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, lost, late, delayed, destroyed or misdirected mail, voice messages, email or any computer errors or malfunctions; (iii) entries which fail to comply with these Contest Rules; (iv) any failure of Freedom Mobile’s web site, the Refer A Friend program registration web site or your referral link during the Contest Period, including any problems or technical malfunctions of any computer on-line systems, servers, computer equipment, software, ordering system, failure of any email, referral or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site your referral link, or any combination thereon; and (v) errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest including any damage to an entrant’s phone, computer equipment, system, software or any combination thereof, as a result of their participation in the Contest or from downloading any material from the Freedom Mobile web site, the Refer A Friend program registration web site or your referral link, where applicable.

h. All entries are subject to verification. By entering this Contest, entrants acknowledge compliance with, and agree to be bound by, the Contest Rules. Entrants further agree to be bound by the decisions of Freedom Mobile, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Freedom Mobile reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant found to be: (a) violating the Contest Rules; (b) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, the Freedom Mobile website, the Refer A Friend program registration web site, your referral link or any related promotional website; (c) using any automated, script, macro, robotic or other program(s) to enter or otherwise participate in this Contest; (d) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE THE CONTEST WEBSITE, the Refer A Friend program registration web site OR YOUR REFERRAL LINK OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, FREEDOM MOBILE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest related materials, including but not limited to point of sale, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules shall prevail, govern and control.

i. No correspondence will be entered into except with entrants requesting the Contest Rules by mail or requesting names of the Prize winners (for which a self-addressed, postage paid envelope must be included).

j. Freedom Mobile reserves the right, in its absolute and sole discretion, to modify the Contest Rules without materially affecting the terms and conditions hereof.

k. Freedom Mobile reserves the right, in its absolute and sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, amend, extend or suspend the Contest and/or select a winner among the eligible entries already submitted.

l. All intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, tradenames, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source codes, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations used in connection with the Contest are the property of their respective owners. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

m. This Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. By entering this Contest, you consent to Freedom Mobile’s collection, use and disclosure of your personal information for the purposes of administering this Contest. Your personal information will be used in accordance with these Contest Rules. By entering this Contest, you also acknowledge that your personal information will be shared with carefully selected third parties, vendors and/or agents of Freedom Mobile for the purpose of administering this Contest. Freedom Mobile’s privacy policy is available at www.freedommobile.ca. Any questions regarding Freedom Mobile’s privacy policy or the treatment of your personal information should be directed to Freedom Mobile’s Privacy Officer, PO Box 365 Stn.
