ABOUT FREEDOM WIFI

Freedom WiFi is available in public areas like malls, parks, coffee shops, restaurants, gyms and more! 

For the most up-to-date hotspot locations, check our Coverage Map. 

To find a Freedom WiFi Hotspot within the Coverage Map use the search bar to find a location and select Show WiFi Hotspots to show the nearest hotspot locations. 

Yes! Be sure your tablet is compatible and has a Freedom Mobile SIM card with active service to connect seamlessly to our Freedom WiFi hotspots. 

To provide a seamless experience, devices purchased directly from Freedom will automatically connect to Freedom WiFi. If you would like to stop automatically connecting, follow the steps below:  

1. Navigate to your device’s WiFi setting. 

2. Select ShawPasspoint. 

3. Disable Auto reconnect or Auto-join. (Some devices may only show the option to Forget the network) 

4. Toggle WiFi Off 

5. Toggle WiFi On 

Your device will now no longer reconnect automatically. If you want to reverse this, simply follow the same steps and re-enable Auto reconnect or Auto-join.
