To make a call while roaming, you must dial the plus symbol (+), followed by the country code of the country you're calling to, then the phone number. To dial +, press and hold 0 on your device's dial pad.

The country code for Canada and the U.S. is 1.

+ → Country Code → Phone number

Example: To place a call to Canada while overseas dial the plus symbol (+), followed by 1 and the 10-digit phone number.

Calls made to your current roaming destination or back to Canada are charged based on your current roaming destination’s talk pay-per-use rate. Check the roaming rates for your destination.

Calls made to any other destination outside of your current roaming destination are $3.50/min.

Calls made to a satellite phone number are $10/min.

Roam Beyond 30-day passes do not use data from your rate plan. Roam Beyond passes give you extra data while roaming in the included destinations.
